Adam and Micheline owned The Runners High in Menlo Park and Los Altos for almost fourteen years and On Your Mark for six years with great success. They received national recognition as one of the top 50 running stores in the country. The Runners High and On Your Mark had an excellent reputation for individualized customer service, product knowledge and expertise in fitting shoes to any foot.
Adam is a board-certified pedorthist and provides biomechanics expertise and knowledge of specialty walking and running footwear. Adam is able to expertly evaluate for custom insoles. In addition, he creates custom insoles by appointment.
Adam is certified in Kinesio taping. Kinesio taping by a professional trained in the taping protocol has shown healing results that were unheard of before this technology.
Adam’s running history speaks for itself. He began running in his youth and continues today. Adam ran competitively in high school and college. He still holds the record for the 800 meter at Aragon High School. He competed in the 800 meter and mile for Northern Arizona University and in the Big Sky Conference. He has competed in many local and California road races and triathlons over the years. He has been coaching cross country and track at Sacred Heart Preparatory High School in Atherton since 2009.
Micheline organized and implemented Olivia’s Miles, a favorite Menlo Park run, from 2005 to 2007. This family event raised over $70,000 for children’s research at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital.
Micheline’s love of running keeps her sane and active in community events and her experience in triathlons helps her understand the needs of customers seeking support in their sport. Micheline ran track in high school then took a break until after college, when she began competing in road races and triathlons all over the United States, breaking many course records for her age group.
